Support double post? Yep. Monday's post was about my job situation and didn't really have much positivity to it. Mainly because it was born out of a "What happened to my life moment" but now comes time for the turn around.

There is a turn around in everything. No matter what happens. There will be a turn around. Whether people support you or not. Right now I don't have a lot, but I'm gaining them one by one.

Its like if you are watching a quarterback without a team and cheerleaders playing against their rival that has everything. Even someone in the stands giving out bags of chips just for spite. 1 vs 11. Not good odds, but as they continue to struggle to just do anything the same thing always happens. People start rooting for the underdog. They start changing sides, not out of betrayal of their team, but because they want to see something memorable happen.

I almost always root for the underdog, but I always want to see people do well, with or without adversity. Call me crazy.

Supported by water.

Reminds me of time when I back when I played basketball in middle school. There was a guy on our team that couldn't throw the ball hard enough to reach the rim on a free throw. Every time he got fouled he would try and the ball would fall short every time. We continued to cheer him on regardless, then in the final game of the season, the last time he would hold the ball that season, he got fouled. To the line we go, still cheering him on even though we just 'know' nothing would happen.

I still remember watching the ball, he threw with all his might, soar through the air. You are probably thinking 'Cinderella story' type moment where he makes the basket but no. It hit the rim and bounced off. Never has the team been so happy for someone that missed a shot.

You see when people around you want you to succeed, even when you fail, you are still moving forward. Also things may turn around before you thought they would. For me it was when I started volunteering. Which turns out was much better than having the job(s) I was going for at the time. I thought the turn around would be when I got a job turns out it was about getting closer to God to reveal so much more about myself than I knew..... Go. Figure.
